To tame the fox
In the work of doing a study on students’ participation in art education and in writing my thesis, I got a glimpse of my own participation, as a student, in relation to it. Through a diary, I have been in dialogue with my process. It is a resistance to a feeling of lack of participation and powerlessness in the face of academic writing and all its rules. I have choose to highlight a piece from it and shaped it as a manifesto. It sheds light on my study from several perspectives, which are my interpretation of the students’ participation, my participation as a student and in the perspective of being an educator myself linked to “taming.”
