The digital craftmaship

An increasingly digital day-to-day is reflected in an increasingly digitalised school. It is the norm to participate in digital culture and we constantly meet new forms of consumption and production. In my degree project, I take a look at digital craft and the resistance it meets in the art subject’s traditional craftsmanship.

By exploring the creation process of digital games, I hope to develop the art subject’s didactic understanding of digital craft’s difference to analogue craftsmanship and how we as teachers can understand visual culture differently by crafting it.
