Anitpatterns

I work in between the digital and the analogue, the discrete and the continuous, the exact and the probabilistic.

I use optics to create intangible images. Images that metamorphose, transmogrify and disintegrate as the spectator changes perspective. Perception, having an underlying bias towards patterns of past experience, competes with the cognitive processes of logic and reason. In the intersection, something exists that is simultaneously understandable and incomprehensible.

This seems to me to be the general principle; the work ends, not when you have exhausted its repertoire of behaviour, but when you have mapped out the limits of the space that contains its behaviour.
