In the Pandemic's Footsteps

During the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to spend much more time in our homes, a place we need to both work and rest. The home has become increasingly important to us, both in terms of its function and its amenities. Several surveys show that the majority of Swedes want their company to be more flexible when it comes to working from home after the pandemic.

For my degree project, I want to show furniture that can facilitate a working day at home. It is an answer to the conflict between the demands for flexibility in working life and the home’s shortage of space.
