Veil of Nature is the result of a process of material exploration.
The climate crisis is one of the factors that has energised my degree project. The way we look at and treat materials must change at the fundamental level. The project has been propelled by material tests and an exploration of the display cabinet as furniture. It touches on issues concerning the relationships between observer and object, ecology, resources and value.
In the project, material samples are scaled up to furniture scale and the work addresses the following questions: What does the material want? And what is it capable of?
