Contained are all the pills, ointments and perfumes we use to fit into a narrow frame of what it is to be human.<\/p>\n<p>Each pill, cream and bottle represents a story of a condition, an aspiration for a better life and an identity to escape from or to endorse. In a world where god is dead, medical science is a powerful voice shaping our lives and identities. A medicine cabinet becomes a window into our inner lives, showing our true stories.<\/p>\n<p><i>Pharmaceuticals<\/i> is saturated with layers of stories about control and stigma. It is an intersection between social constructs, hope, beauty and shame.
