{"id":262,"date":"2022-04-24T19:29:40","date_gmt":"2022-04-24T17:29:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/konstfack2022.se\/?p=262"},"modified":"2022-05-31T15:15:19","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T13:15:19","slug":"xiaoyi-shen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/konstfack2022.se\/en\/master-en\/mais-en\/xiaoyi-shen\/","title":{"rendered":"Xiaoyi Shen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Design\u00a0for\u00a0me\u00a0is\u00a0about\u00a0finding ways\u00a0to blur the\u00a0boundaries\u00a0of human frameworks.\u00a0Using\u00a0mixed media,\u00a0I weave\u00a0alternative realities\u00a0and in-between spaces with variant species, by\u00a0creating\u00a0<i>what if<\/i> scenarios that bounce between imagination and\u00a0reality, here and there, now and then.<\/p>\n<p>In my degree project, I speculate about a parallel world where a parliament chair is designed for more-than-humans to speak up within a political construct which has been fabricated by humans.
