I am interested in the intersection between humour and seriousness in specific phenomena, situations or behaviours. What happens, for example, in a room when someone says that they love the police. Or a shoe sole produced to emulate a moon landing that seems to fit perfectly in a foam-rubber mattress.<\/p>\n<p>My artistic practice consists mainly of text-based video, a medium that enables associative exploration and allows me to approach my various subjects through a complex weave of characters, sites, events and narratives. My filmmaking has a lot in common with the film essay and the idea that film can generate an unexpected way of thinking.
